1. General agreement
All bookings for Rome Free Walking Tour (RFWT) made through this website or via third parties imply that you agree to these Terms and Conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement between RFWT and the end-user), and your booking will be accepted by us on this basis. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation invoice.
2. The validity of our offer and acceptance of the booking
Dates, itineraries, and pricing of our tours are valid for the entire year 2019 and until further notice and can be subject to change.
If we accept your booking we will issue a confirmation invoice. A contract will exist between us from the date we issue the confirmation invoice. Please refer to your booking confirmation invoice for details regarding your tour.

3. General inclusions and exclusions
The basic price of our private and group tours includes:
• all transport as listed in the tour info page
• sightseeing as listed in the tour info page
• the services of a tour guide as listed in the tour info page
The basic price of our tours does not include:
• international or internal flights unless specified
• airport transfers, taxes and excess baggage charges unless specified
• meals other than those eventually specified in the tour info page
• Visa and passport fees
• travel insurance
• optional activities, equipment rental, and all personal expenses
• entrance and admission tickets and fees to museums, archaeological areas, natural parks, and event, unless specified in the tour info page
Optional activities not included in the tour price do not form part of the tour or this contract. You accept that any assistance given by your group tour guide or local RFWT / DorisTeA representative in arranging optional activities does not render us liable for them in any way. The contract for the provision of that activity will be between you and the activity provider (i.e. optional aperitifs and drinks).
4. Age, health and ID requirements
Minimum age at the time of travel applies to many of our tours – please see specific info on the tour page for details. For the majority of our tours, we have no upper age limit though we remind you that our tours can sometimes be physically demanding (i.e. walking, climbing stairs, etc.) and our participants must ensure that they are suitably fit to allow full participation.
All travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian, or in lieu of a legal guardian, by an escort over the age of 18, appointed by their legal guardian.
You must carry a valid national ID and if from outside the EU, a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits, and certificates for your trip. Your passport must be valid for at least 2 months beyond the duration of the tour. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits, and certificates, and we are not responsible if you are refused entry to a museum, natural park or event because you lack the correct ID, visa or other valid travel documentation.
5. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellations
The products and services offered by DorisTeA Turismo e Arte are valid according to the dates and times displayed on our website. All requests for change/modification of the reservation must be addressed to the customer support team of DorisTeA Turismo e Arte via e-mail at [email protected], or the phone numbers reported on this website.
DorisTeA Turismo e Arte does not charge fees to change or change the dates or times of an existing reservation, provided the request is received by our customer support team within seventy-two (72) hours before the date of the tour or confirmed service.
If a date/time change is requested, DorisTeA Turismo e Arte will try to honor the request; However, DorisTeA Turismo e Arte can not guarantee the date/time change as all requests and changes are subject to availability.
For the changes made, more than seventy-two (72) hours before the original reservation date of the tour or other services will be charged a penalty of 50% of the total payable as per the original booking.
For cancellations within twenty-four (24) hours from the original booking date, a cancellation fee equal to the total cost (100%) of the service/tour of the original reservation will be applied.
DorisTeA Turismo e Arte reserves the right to cancel, modify or replace any service or tour that has been booked on www.DorisTeA.com or www.romefreewalkingtour.com at any time, for reasons related to the accessibility of the sites/museums or extraordinary events linked to traffic (strikes, demonstrations, marches, marathons, sporting events, etc.) or meteorological conditions (storms, floods, snow or other) or other causes; in these cases, if you are not satisfied with the alternatives offered, you are entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price.
DorisTeA Turismo e Arte accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa. There is no service fee or cost for processing credit card payments. Full payment by credit card is required to make a reservation. Payment will be listed as DorisTeA Turismo e Arte (MCCC SAS) service on the credit card statement.
Cancellation of a booking with DorisTeA Turismo e Arte can lead to cancellation charges applied by DorisTeA Turismo e Arte, as indicated below. When you cancel any booking you will be notified by e-mail or fax if you have been able to make the cancellation and cancellation fees incurred. DorisTeA Turismo e Arte adopts a 72-hour early repayment policy.
Cancellations must be communicated by e-mail to [email protected] not later than 72 hours before the tour, to receive a refund. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee of 5% of the total charged per person. No partial refund will be given for cancellations made within 72 hours of a tour. Partial refunds are not available once the tour or service has begun. Full refunds are offered only at the discretion of the manager.
Entrance tickets and bookings to sites, museums or other items purchased by DorisTeA Turismo and Arte for the client, are never refundable.
6. Limitation of liability
DorisTeA Turismo e Arte assumes no responsibility for any illness, theft, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government withholding, war and / or terrorism, weather conditions, defects in any transport vehicle or for any mishap or accident or other causes beyond its control.
This is not limited to, but may include, a) the closure of places where DorisTeA Turismo and Arte makes tours or services, where and when the closure of that place is out of control of DorisTeA Tourism and Art or if DorisTeA Tourism is Art had not been advised, from this place, well in advance to inform customers, facts that may be due to inclement weather, demonstrations and protests or simply the decision Lastminute of the place. b) the inability of our tour to access certain monuments/areas and/or places due to restrictions caused by excessive traffic, bad weather, demonstrations, and protests or due to the fact that this area may be in restored / under construction or covered/obstructed and closed to the public.
7. Your personal info, our privacy policy, photos/videos for promotional purposes, copyright, and cookies
In order for us to confirm your travel arrangements, you must provide all requested details with the balance of the trip price. Necessary details vary by trip; they include but are not limited to full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue, and expiry date and any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your ability to complete your travel arrangements. Failure to provide requested details may result in additional charges or non-refundable cancellation of your trip.
Any personal information that we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation and organization of the tour you booked or requested information about, and to send you marketing material in relation to our events and special offers, if you opted in for such updates. The information may be disclosed to our agents, service providers or other suppliers to enable us to operate the tour or experience. We will otherwise treat your details in accordance with our privacy policy, which complies with all current privacy laws, rules and best practices in use in Italy and the EU, including the latest GPDR 2018.
You consent to RFWT / DorisTeA using images and videos of you taken during the tours for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose, including social media. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes. If you disagree on this and prefer not to have any picture taken, please let your group tour guide know before the beginning of your tour. RFWT / DorisTeA is not responsible for pictures and videos of you taken by other participants during our tours, and for the use of such photo and video materials by those third parties.

8. Applicable laws and RFWT contact info
The terms and conditions of use will be supported and interpreted by Italian law. Any controversy deriving from or connected to the execution of the terms and conditions of use will be transmitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the legal court of Rome.
